WHO WE ARE

We are a Home Office approved community sponsorship group based in the Catholic Church in Sidmouth, East Devon. Community Sponsorship was launched by the UK government in 2016 to augment the UK's commitment to welcome 20,000 refugees affected by the crisis in Syria by 2020.

Since 2016, hundreds of refugees have been sponsored by local community groups like ours.

Our group is made up of people from all walks of life from Sidmouth and the surrounding area. Our lead sponsor is Caritas Plymouth, the helping hand of the Catholic church, and we would love to welcome volunteers from across the entire community.
